With human remains dating back more than four centuries, Ivry is one of the main archaeological sites in the Île de France region. Although Ivry has grown steadily over the years, it was during the 19th and 20th centuries that the town experienced a veritable industrial boom. A testament to this prosperity and the town's importance, Ivry-sur-Seine is overflowing with monuments and places of interest that cannot be ignored, many of them listed as Monuments Historiques.



Industrial heritage


Ivry-sur-Seine bears the indelible marks of its industrial heritage, testifying to its central role in France's economic history.
